Our children each started at this school in grade 1, the first in 2019. Throughout the pandemic, their schooling never suffered due to the dedication of the teaching and leadership staff. The Ministry of Education curriculum is taught in its entirety (not 70-75% like in other educational systems) and our kids have flourished. At Westboro Academy, there is a yearly science fair and a French-language heritage fair (grades 5-8) which provides students crucial experience in public speaking. Our children benefit from a robust arts program including music, art and drama. Inclusivity is at the core of everything done at Westboro Academy. Our children are very happy here.

What an amazing school and community! Our journey began in grade 2, and our only regret is not enrolling our son earlier. Beyond academics, my son is learning important life skills that you can’t compensate through additional tutoring. The school fosters an environment where critical thinking, curiosity, and creativity thrive. It's not just about what you learn but how you learn, and the passionate, dedicated teachers serve as inspiring role models for the future generations they're shaping.

My family has been ay Westboro Academy for the past 12 years and it has been a wonderful experience. The school's commitment to bilingualism, the community feel and the quality of the staff are above and beyond other private schools in Ottawa.

My son has just started JK at AWA and it has been a very positive experience for us. The faculty and staff are accommodating, attentive, kind and professional. Even the parent volunteers involved in the school are wonderful too. The JK teacher (Mme. Janick) is exceptional and is passionate about the kids, her classroom and the work she does to support these little learners to evolve and grow - not just academically but socially/emotionally as well. She has helped both my son and I navigate the school transition with grace and poise and I feel very strongly my son is in the best possible educational setting for him. The small class sizes, personable staff, individualized instruction and high level of care and curriculum standards are at the forefront of why we have re-enrolled for SK next year. Our kids have had a wonderful experience at Westboro Academy. The staff are caring, nurturing and approachable. The opportunities for excellence exist in a positive, inclusive environment. We are thankful we chose Westboro for our kids!

We have been extremely happy with our children's experience at Westboro Academy. Teachers are innovative, fun, warm, and deeply committed. Administration is approachable, responsive, and open to feedback. The small class size and bilingual environment is a huge plus, as is the dedicated instructors for specialty subjects. Highly recommend!

If you can avoid this school, by all means! The school runs by 2 women never had kid, therefore no empathy and understanding to any kind. If you have 6+ kids enrolling in this school, then your kids can do whatever they want. If you only have 1 or 2 children, good luck! Limited resources with teachers swamped to survive their day. School administration is terrible, they can’t even send a memo right-full of spelling mistakes and even the year is wrong for the year end concert, such a joke! School will ask for donations all year long with clear price chart! You can never trust them on your children’s education, consider other private schools in town.

This school maintains a COVID vaccine mandate for students when no other place does anymore. Buyer beware.
